This Art Nouveau brooch is all about hairography. A lovely lady's face, depicted in profile, wild whiplash tresses framing her head. The design is exquisite in its simplicity. Repouss?? jewelry-making techniques give this piece its lovely three-dimensional quality. The back is marked "Sterling 1278." Circa 1900.

Details: The brooch measures 1.24" by 1.03. In Very Good Antique Condition. Some wear should be expected on all vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of their charm.
