This fascinating Navajo piece can be worn in many different ways. A heavily adorned sterling silver plaque sits atop a sturdy alligator clip. The elongated plaque is set with turquoise, coral, and shell in hand-cut bezels. A small bear claw sits in an engraved silver cap, while an applied silver leaf curls around the gems. Delicate wirework and beaded details complete the gorgeous tableaux. The alligator clip allows the jewel to be attached to anything: clothing, a hat, a bag, a braid ... the possibilities are endless. Circa 1970.
Details: The clip measures 2.10" by .62" by .76". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
